Fellowships
As part of its mission, the Trusted AI Center has established a Ph.D. Fellowship Program. This program provides annual fellowships to several doctoral students at USC, enabling them to advance research in privacy-preserving ML. Fellowship recipients, named Amazon ML Fellows, are selected based on their promise and achievements. These fellowships offer students unique opportunities to engage in groundbreaking research and contribute to the advancement of secure and trusted machine learning technologies.
USC and Amazon have created a joint research center focused on the development of new approaches to machine learning (ML) privacy, security, and trustworthiness. The Center for Secure and Trusted Machine Learning (in short, Trusted AI), which will be housed at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, will support USC and Amazon researchers in the development of novel approaches to privacy-preserving ML solutions.
