Biography
Siheng Zhao is a second-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Southern California, advised by Prof. Yue Wang. He is a member of the Geometry, Vision, and Learning Lab, where his research focuses on developing robotic agents that are effective, efficient, and responsible.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and their applications to robotic manipulation and humanoid robots. My current research focuses on: (1) Scaling up robot learning through large-scale data generation from in-the-wild images and videos. (2) Humanoid whole-body control and loco-manipulation. (3) Simulation and evaluation of robotic agents to ensure security and robustness.
What does being an Amazon ML Fellow mean to you?
I am deeply honored to be selected as an Amazon ML Fellow. This fellowship not only recognizes my research in scalable and responsible robot learning, but also provides invaluable support and inspiration to push the boundaries of AI for robotics.
